Founded in 1962, NIPSEA Group comprises of two main shareholders – Nippon Paint Holdings Co. Ltd (“NPHD”) and Wuthelam Holdings. In 1965, NIPSEA Group took a major step forward and initiated the company’s first paint manufacturing plant in Singapore. In 2012, it officially marked the Golden Jubilee year for NISPEA Group, as well as its 20 years in China.
Collectively, NPHD and NIPSEA Group form Asia’s largest paints and coatings group with 65 manufacturing facilities (excluding Japan) and operations spanning 15 countries and regions. Presently, the Group produces close to 1 billion liters of paints and coating annually – positioning NIPSEA Group as the preferred paint and coatings supplier of choice in Asia. This reputation is underpinned by the strong workforce of over 16,000* staff strength, efficiently serving all aspects of the business from technology research, product development, manufacturing to sales and distribution.
Over the last 53 years, the NIPSEA Group has grown Nippon Paint to a leading brand in the Asian market and continues to delight customers with its bold and innovative products.
